Finally I caught Willa's roll with the camera. She rolled over for the first time in mid September. That was from front to back. A couple of days later she rolled from back to front, but after just a couple of rolls she seemed to quit. After our trip to San Diego she started rolling again and now she can't seem to stop. For a while she had to be naked to roll- her cloth diapers were too much of an obstacle to overcome, but now she's got the hang of it. She only seems to go from her back to her front and then get frustrated because she can't go anywhere else. She wants to be mobile and to be able to chase Blanca. So now when she wakes up from a nap no more wiggles and coos on her back in bed. It's a quick roll over, look around and scream... come get me this is boring!
Sorry about the "mom-voice" in the video, I can barely stand to hear myself, but there is a sociological/evolutionary (??) reason for it. Babies know to listen when you speak to them in a higher pitch. Anyway I don't know how you can look at something so cute and not get a little squeaky.

She is the most wonderful little girl with the greastest parents ever. I love your stories, Kathy. If I were there I would be using squeaky voice as well. I love you all. Susan
